Emily’s Limericks

Published by Mrs Rooks under Uncategorized and tagged:

Emily made up these 2 Limericks
Limerick 1
A cool man from France
Was great at dance
He said all you need to do
Is have fun and say yahoo
He also did a great prance

Limerick 2
I once had a little pet doggy
That got lost when it was quite foggy
He fell in a pond
Turned into James Bond
Well a bit like James Bond but more soggy

Brilliant Emily, Mrs Rooks is very jealous as she can’t write such good Limericks

Limericks

Published by Mrs Rooks under Uncategorized and tagged:

This Term Y3 have been looking at different types of poetry.
We have really enjoyed looking at Limericks. Joe wrote this one at home
I go to school everyday
Dragging my feet all the way
I kick and I holler
I don’t want to be a scholar
I wish I could go home and play.
Well done Joe
Watch this space for more Limericks !!

Published by Mrs Rooks under Uncategorized and tagged:

This term Y3 had a visit from Mike the Palaentologist who gave a powerpoint presentation about fossils and dinosaurs, All the children were very interested and Rhys and Jake showed an amazing amount of knowledge about dinosaurs. We have since written stories and poems about dinosaurs and the children have created some wonderful drawings.
